Puri Jagannath Satires on Media

Director Puri Jagan is always having this grudge on media and that is why he throws witty satires on the ‘fourth estate’ whenever possible. After his direct knocks on media in many films, here comes his latest take.

Apparently, the film ‘Iddarammayilatho’ starts with a satire on media. A minister who is about to give send off to his daughter is caught by media midway and they asks him all those logic less questions.

Apparently when the ministers says that he will give send off to his daughter and come back to answer them, some journalist immediately asks why the minister’s daughter is going abroad all of a sudden.

The minister then asks media people not to talk all rubbish as they like and asks them to behave properly. This scene is heard not doing well with some ‘sensation’ liking media houses and they are on a revenge mode now.

The big talk is that some media houses are deliberately declaring Iddarammayilatho as a flop flick, as a reaction to Puri’s bitter comments. We have to see where this will end.

Boyapati movie with Nandamuri Hero

All those Nandamuri Fans who have been waiting with so much of patience to hear good news on balakrishna’s next film can get their share of joy now. It is finalized. Balayya will act next in the direction of Boyapati Srinu for none other than 14 Reels Entertainments Banner. Being away from films for a while, balakrishna thinks this is the right to come back because Boyapati prepared a powerful script just like ‘Simha.’

Movie will be launched 3rd June while Boyapati is in the process of zeroing on remaining casting inclusive of top heroines.

Producers have got the blue print to release movie for Sankranthi 2014 as this season proved very lucky for Balayya since long.
There is also gossip on Boyapati looking for the title of ‘Jaya Simha’ for this movie.

Priyamani agree to dance with Shahrukh Khan

Priyamani was signed on to dance for an item number in Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express, directed by Rohit Shetty and co-starring Deepika Padukone. She was roped in after Nayanthara refused the initial offer for this number.

‘Iddarammayilatho’ First Report!
Amidst huge hype and hoopla, Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s ‘iddarammayilatho’ hit the screens on 31st of May. The movie has generated positive reports at the end of its morning shows. As usually Allu Arjun rocked with superb dances. The picturization of songs such as ‘Run Run’, ‘Violin song’ and ‘Top Lechipoddi’ are good. Bunny’s steps for Chiranjeevi’s Gang Leader’ song was one of the highlights of the movie. The action sequence before interval was mind blowing. Amala Paul appeared so cute in traditional Brahmin gril getup. However, it was Katherine Tresa who stole the show with her glamour and good doses of skin show.

On the flip side, the comedy part was not upto to the mark. There were no Puri’s mark of punch dialogues in this movie. On a whole, romance between the hero and heroines have been given prime importance rather comedy and action. Trade pundits are of the opinion that the movie has the capability to score a big hit despite any negative reviews or any poor talks, as it consists of very good dances, fights and romance.

After the success of Julai, Allu Arjun is all set to enthrall the audience with his latest action romance film Iddarammayilatho. Here’s the movie review of the flick.

Iddarammayilatho Telugu movie review highlights
True to his tag of ‘stylish star’, Allu Arjun looks trendier than ever before. His character of a guitarist, who is a street performer in Barcelona, was at it’s best sketchy, and looks completely different from his previous films.

The amount of hard work and research done for Bunny’s styling and wardrobe, was clearly visible on screen.

The action romantic film’s lead pair (Allu Arjun-Amala Paul-Katheirne) were seen enjoying themselves romancing in the first half. Also the heroism helps Allu Arjun redeem himself.

It’s the characterisations that literally set the screen on fire, with highly individualistic streak coupled with their sad vulnerability.

Puri’s filmmaking lies basically in focusing on his dialogues: crisp, concise and completely in sync with colloquial language and it’s a gamble he took.

Although Puri Jagannath penned an offbeat story and developed a complex, but with the comprehensive screenplay, he extracted sensitive performances from the principal cast. However, the execution of the subject and also the pacing in the first hour are deterrents.

Kecha Khamphakdee is a revelation. The action sequences he choreographed in Spain and Bangkok are perhaps one of the best in the recent times.

Amala Paul’s characterisation is a delight, and she plays Komali so effectively that you’ll be left wondering who else could have done the role better than her. She was a perfect choice to play a traditional Telugu girl.

Kaetherine Teresa looks glamorus and perfectly suits the character of Akanksha.

Cameraman Amol Rathod has captured the picturesque locations beautifully. His sharp photography and peculiar camera angles have elevated the film’s visual appeal. He also captured the beauty of Spain and other places excellently and every frame and shot is a marvel.

Devi Sri Prasad’s numbers are peppy as usual and his violin background was used to good effect.

Iddarammayilatho hits you like fresh air, and you instantly fall for the lead characters, refreshingly flesh-and-blood with their set of quirks, flaws and strengths. The first half does ramble a bit and takes time to build up into a riveting second half. However, too much cinematic liberties and slow paced narration have been taken in the second half, which makes the film uninteresting.
