Ram Gopal Varma new movie with 4 Directors

Coming up with different concepts of filmmaking and unique storylines has always been Ram Gopal Varma’s forte. Though his experimental films didn’t work big, the films that worked created a massive impact on the psyche of the audience and the film industry. And here is another byte coming from his camp.
Last night the Bollywood celebrities put many appreciative statements about the film ‘Bombay Talkies’. They were all giving major pump to the concept. Well, it is an assortment of four short stories directed by four directors Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap. Well, truth is, this happens to be RGV’s concept originally.
Apparently, he wanted to make something called ‘Pelli’ wherein Puri Jagan, Harish, himself and BVS Ravi would direct short films within that. So, the concept was already there but the Bollywood folks are projecting it like a different idea. In fact, RGV’s films like ‘Darna Mana Hai’ also revolve around the same concept except that he got the film’s characters to narrate separate tales. For his position RGV may not do ‘Pelli’ now but let it be known that the concept was his original thought.
