Venkatesh’s Shadow released on a grand scale [April 26]. The first show screenings have been completed and the movie is getting average to below average response from the audiences.

Venkatesh looked stylish in the film, and he’ll be seen different shade characters. However, his costumes in a couple of songs like Pilla manchi bandobasti didn’t suit him.

Tapsee added the glamour for the movie and songs are richly captured. The entire movie is lavishly shot with rich technical values.

Meher Ramesh’s direction is getting negative response. The film’s story is based on revenge drama but the film lacks emotional depth in several scenes and they weren’t effective. A couple of twists are good but the screenplay isn’t gripping and lacked freshness.

Despite the very good casting like Venkatesh, Srikanth, Tapsee, Naga Babu, MS Narayana, director Meher Ramesh failed in handling the big-budget film.
