Movie Sequel link to Box office collections

The Tollywood directors are now a days concentrating on the ways to make huge box office collections. Repeating the star cast is one of the strategy followed by the Directors and the producers to make huge collections.

Puri Jagannadh after Block Buster succes of Pokiri, planned a movie with Mahesh again and prepared a script for the same as the combination would have huge expectations.

Similarly with Sreenu Vytla. After the huge success of Dookudu, he too planned a movie with Mahesh and titled the movie as Aagadu. The expectations on the Movie would definitely hit the box office collections.

The other Director who implemented the startegy may be named as Ram Gopal varma. The sequel tradition into Tollywood and bollywood was first implemented by RGV.

After sucess of ' Money', with the same starcast he directed 'Money Money', though it was a disaster. Raktha charithra-1 and 2, bhoot -1 and 2 and now satya -2 sequel of satya is planned by RGV.

Sukumar too planned Arya -2 after sucess of Arya. Trivikram planned Attarintiki Daaredhi after success of Jalsa with Pawan kalyan.

Rajamouli planned a movie with prabhas after success of Chatrapathi.Gabbar singh and Gabbar singh-2 fall under this category

All the top directors are either making a sequel of the previous hit movie or repeating the star cast to hit the box office collections as te expectations would be high on the combination ( hero and director).
