SS Rajamouli, Shankar and Mani Ratnam are the top three proud names of South Indian contemporary cinema whose magnetism grew to high peaks. They break, eat, drink and sleep movies. Having worked with all three directors, there is one art director Sabu Cyril shared the views on his presently time spending project of Bahubali. India’s top and four times national award winning art director offered next one year of time for erection of Bahubali settings.
“I have worked with Mani Ratnam, Shankar and the likes of many others. Rajamouli is different and working with him is a new experience. He seems to have given the life and soul to the making of Bahubali.
This movie is not an easy job and longest project, I have ever worked. Bahubali is shot in two parts with film dating back to 11th century. Every single object in story needs to be recreated in extreme detail. The set design might actually take one more year to complete,” Sabu Cyril said whose Krrish 3 is releasing very sooner.
