Nagarjuna’s All-Rounder Dream

Akkineni Nagarjuna has earned the name of ‘all-rounder’ by playing the lead in offbeat, mass, love stories and devotional films. Now the handsome hero who is in his 50s wants his son to follow his foot steps.

While interacting with the media at Raddisson Blue in Hyderabad, Nag expressed his happiness over the success of Naga Chaitanya’s recent outing Tadakha. However, our aged-romantic hero made it clear he doesn’t want Chaitu to be typecast instead wishes to see him play versatile roles in different genres to bag the ‘all-rounder’ tag.

Getting into details, Naga Chaitanya played the roles of lover boy and rough & tough mass roles until now. In both these areas, he managed to earn some brownie points. He is yet to gain some maturity to play larger-than-life roles on screen and playing devotional characters is an out of questions at the moment due to age factor.

On the other hand, Nagarjuna recently completed 27 years of his glorious film career. Chaitu need to be in the Industry at least more then one decade to fulfill the dream of his actor-father as acting in different genres and coming out with flying colors is no easy job.
