Stars changed their Names and achieved Fame and Success

 

Most of the heroes or heroines in Tollywood don’t have real names. Before their entry into films they have one name and after the entry they have another time. While in some people’s case it is forced because already stars with same names exists for others it is associated with success.
For example in the olden days there used to be two Rangaraos. One SV.Rangarao while another Sakshi Rangarao. Some after changing their name based on their sentiment or numerology became stars with change of luck.
Some of those who changed their names include Krishna (Ghatammaneni Sivarama Krishna), Sobhan Babu (Sobhana Chalapathirao), Chiranjeevi (Siva Sankar Vara Prasad), Kamal Hasan (Parthasarathi), Jagapathy Babu (Jagapathy Chowdary), Ravi Teja (Bhupati Raju Ravisankar Raju), Sunil (Indukuri Sunil Varma),Nani (Ghanta Naveen Kumar).
This trend is not confined to Tollywood. Even in Kollywood Surya (Saravanan), Rajanikanth(Sivajirao Gaekwad). Even heroines changed their names and they include Vanisri (Ratnakumari), Jayaprada (Lalitarani), Jayasudha (Sujatha), Jayachitra (Lakshmikrishnaveni Rohini Parvatidevi).
Call it superstition or by force one can not stop this name change for success in the industry.
