Nitya Menen as a rape victim!

Nitya Menen is always up for challenging roles. She chose to play these kind of different roles than just being a glam doll. Her next movie, Malini 22 is a Telugu and Tamil remake of Malayalam movie, 22 Female Kottayam. She plays a rape victim in the movie. Yesteryear actress Sripriya (Anthuleni Katha fame) is making her directorial debut with this movie.

The makers say they have a solution to this rampant problem which makes it worth to wait.  Reema Kallingal will reprise Nithya’s role in Malayalam. The Telugu version of the movie will have actors like Kota Srinivasa Rao, Naresh etc. The movie will be releasing simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil.
