NTR’s latest offering Baadshah might be the biggest grossing film in his career, but other than that there is nothing remarkable about this commercial potboiler.Although the first two weeks collections of Baadshah were impressive with a worldwide share of Rs 40.86 crore due to fantastic pre-release buzz and no opposition at the ticket window, the film failed to continue the momentum in the third weekend because of low repeat value and new releases.
As per the trade, Baadshah raked in just Rs 2.2 crore in its third weekend at the Box Office. This isn’t an encouraging sign and the position of the film gets even worse if biggies like Shadow and Greekuveerudu hits the screens.
It’s official that Baadshah will be the first film in NTR’s career to cross the Rs 40 crore share mark, but would no way touch the Rs 50 crore barrier which was successfully crossed by Pawan, Mahesh and Ram Charan. This indicates the reach of NTR isn’t on par with any of the three stars mentioned above.
