Ram Charan at Cannes Film Festival

The year 2013 seems to be a great year for Tollywood at Cannes Film Festival. After the news of Priyanka Dutt’s short film selected for screening at the film festival, the latest we hear is that Ram Charan is planning to walk the red carpet along with the cast & crew of his maiden Bollywood film Zanjeer.
Apparantly, Charan is visiting the Cannes film festival for the first time and he will have the opportunity to interact with some of highly reputed actors and filmmakers across the world.The Tollywood star has pinned a lot of hopes on Zanjeer which is his ticket to Hindi Film Industry. So, he is leaving no stone unturned to make the film reach out to the audience. Apperance at Cannes is part of Zanjeer promotional campaign.
Oscar winning director Steven Spielberg is the President of Cannes Film Festival for the year 2013. He has chosen Bollywood actress Vidya Balan as one of the jury members. About four Indian films (Bombay Talkies, Ugly, Monsoon Shootout and Charulata) will be screened a the film festival which begins from May 115th and ends on May 26th.
