Junior NTR has teamed up with ace director Srinu Vaitla for his upcoming movie Baadshah, which has been carrying very high expectations. Bandla Ganesh Babu is producing the film under his home banner Parameshwara Art Productions. The Gabbar Singh producer has shelled out more than Rs 50 crores on this highly-talked about movie featuring actress Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.
Well-known writers Gopimohan and Kona Venkat have penned the story, while Srinu Vaitla wrote the screenplay for the film Baadshah, which happens to be a stylish romantic action entertainer. Junior NTR’s flamboyant look in its trailers and posters have created lot of curiosity among the film goers. Although its makers have been very tight-lipped about its story, recently a movie portal leaked a storyline.

If we are to go by this report, the story revolves around a mafia leader’s son, who falls in love with a girl. In a bid to know her character, he takes the help of a guy. When the girls goes to Spain, both these guys follow her. But while returning, the don’s son is caught by the Airport customs officer and he asks his aid to keep a watch on her. What happens next will form crux of the story. The producers have neither rejected nor accepted it as the story of the film Baadshah.
Baadshah has received a U/A certificate from the Censor Board. A sources from the Board says that the film is a good action entertainer with all other commercial elements like comedy, romance, punch dialogues and good music. It has a routine story and weak climax. The second half is quite interesting, when compared to the first half. The source adds that the movie will not disappoint the film goers, who have huge expectations from it.

Reports suggest that Junior NTR is playing a contract killer, while Kajal Agarwal appears as his love interest Janaki in Baadshah. Mukesh Rushi is essaying the role of a Mafia leader, while Navdeep reprises the role of his son and his character has negative shades. Prakash Raj, Ritu Varma, Ajay, Supreet and Brahmanandam are playing other important roles in it.
Performance:
Junior NTR’s performance is going to be the main highlight in Baadshah. His flamboyant look, stylish action, trendy dance moves and dialogue delivery featured in the promos have already soared up the viewers’ expectations to sky high.
Sources from the production claim that Kajal Aggarwal, whose chemistry with NTR has already rocked the viewers in Brindavanam, is playing a different role in this film. She will impress you with some funny one liners. Her glamour is also expected to be a major asset for the movie.
Talented actor Navadeep is playing a villain in this flick Baadshah and his performance will also be a big asset to the film. Siddharth’s cameo, Mahesh Babu’s voice-over and Meenakshi Dixit’s item song will be among other attractions in the film.
Technical Departments:
Srinu Vaitla has already impressed the Telugu audience with his perfect direction and his comedy mark is the main secret to his success. The director, who has been adept in handling full length comedy films, looks very confident with Baadshah. He is going to feature Brahmanandam in a new way, which is going to be another highlight in the film.
S Thaman has composed music for soundtracks for Baadshah and Bollywood singers like Daler Mehndi and Baba Sehgal have crooned a couple of songs for it. The audio album has already rocked the music lovers and proved to be a big hit of the year. His soundtracks and background score are going to be main attraction in the technical front.
Four cinematographer like I Andrew, K V Guhan, Jayanan Vincent and R D Rajasekhar handled the camera work for Baadshah, which promises a visual feast to the audience. The movie has been shot in exotic locations like Italy, Switzerland and Bangkok. Some portions have also been canned at a private house in Hyderabad.
Above all these aspects, stylishly choreographed fights will be one among the major attraction of Baadshah. The choreography of dances will be another highlight of the film.
Gopimohan and Kona Venkat have penned powerful punch dialogues for Baadshah. Junior NTR’s dailogue – “Baadshah decide ayithe, war one side ayipoddhi” has grabbed the attention of many.
Baadshah is slated to release in nearly 2000 screens across the globe and the tickets for the first three days have already been sold out in many centres. With the movie scheduled to hit the screens on April 5, it should be seen whether it will be able to reach the expectations of viewers.
